As a librarian with a passion for digital design and library marketing, I have enjoyed creating fliers, signs, and other promotional materials for library events. Below, you will find examples of various materials I've created myself and with the input of other librarians.

Permanent/Temporary Signs

During the Summer of 2014, we added new technologies and services to the library.

To bring awareness to the new changes, I designed a mixture of permanent decal signs and temporary directional signs for our patrons to use.

New Technology

I designed signs and directional materials for many of the new technologies installed in the library during my stay at Wartburg College.

My director and I believe in the importance of professionalism throughout the library, which included signs that reflected our interest in creativity and technological promotion.

These signs were created for the brand new flat-panel monitors installed in various study spaces.

World Wednesday Promotion

With the music librarian, I designed three different promotional posters for a contest she ran during Winter Term 2014.

These posters were switched out through out the semester to allow the contest to maintain a fresh face.

"The Great Escape" Marketing Materials

In partnership with various departments on campus, a counselor and myself organized a night against procrastination.

Branded "The Great Escape" I designed bookmarks, table tents, and posters to promote the event on campus.

The Saint John's Bible, Heritage Edition

During 2014, Vogel Library housed two bibles from The Saint John's Bible, Heritage Edition: The Pentateuch, and The Gospels & Acts.

I designed these informational signs, which were utilzed by students and facutly and visitors from around the state.

Library Newsletter: The Vogel Update

One of my first creative endeavors for Wartburg College was designing and implementing a completely revamped newsletter.

As the Chair of Library PR, I worked with two other colleagues to compile the articles and create a newsletter that was both informative and eye catching.

Extended articles were linked to our Library News page.

Furniture Signage

Sometimes, library signs need just a little bit of humor.

In response to shifting furniture, I had a lot of fun creating signs with an original poem. I took pictures of some great study spaces in our buildings and transposed a poem along side.
